In the blog post, executives acknowledged a “drastic” shift for Zillow, which historically discouraged remote work. “Our old preferences have been debunked during the pandemic,” wrote Dan Spaulding, Zillow’s chief people officer. The quarterly survey, sponsored by Zillow and administered by Pulsenomics, also asked experts for their views on the rental market, housing inventory and their expectations for home value growth this year and over the next five years. A new study on LinkedIn shows that when it comes to jobs that require people to be in person, there are essentially two jobs like that on LinkedIn for every one person who's applying. On the flip side, though, for remote positions, there are two people applying for every one remote job.
